An app is still blocked after Gator Lock lifted

This is a known iOS bug rather than something ScreenGator can fix: after a Screen Time shield is removed, iOS occasionally keeps an app blocked anyway. Restarting your iPhone clears it. ScreenGator warns you about this before you turn Gator Lock on, and again after the lock lifts.

My score is not moving

The score is deliberately slow. It falls while you use your phone and climbs while you do not, and it moves in steps rather than continuously, because iOS reports device usage in steps rather than second by second.

If it never moves at all, check Settings inside ScreenGator: if Screen Time says anything other than Tracking, the app can only see time spent inside ScreenGator itself rather than your whole phone.

I want to turn Gator Lock off

Open ScreenGator, tap the gear icon, and choose Turn Gator Lock off. It takes effect immediately. While the lock is active you can also take a five-minute emergency unlock from the home screen without switching the feature off.

GatorChat says the gator has nothing to say

GatorChat runs on Apple Intelligence, on your device. It needs an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence, with the feature switched on in iOS Settings, and the on-device model finished downloading. Everything else in ScreenGator works exactly the same without it.

The chart and GatorChat say to come back later

Both need at least three days of history. Two days is not a trend, and the app would rather say nothing than invent one.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting the app deletes everything. To erase it while keeping the app, open Settings inside ScreenGator and choose Reset.
